On a rental contract, you will be charged the rental rate (28 days billing cycle), delivery charge, pickup charge, tax and any optional items you choose (damage waiver, locks, ramps, etc.). When you return your unit, we will prorate your rent for the time used providing the unit was returned within the first week of the billing cycle. We do not charge personal property tax, fuel surcharges, and administrative fees and we do not add extra days on the end of your lease.
You can use most any padlock but the Puck Lock™ is much more secure and designed to be used with the patented Pro Vault Locking System®. A standard padlock is vulnerable to bolt cutters whereas the Puck Lock™ is not vulnerable to bolt cutter or prying.
The minimum rental term is one billing cycle (28 days) for a storage container and two billing cycles for an office for contractors. Residential customers have a two billing cycle minimum.
While our containers are great for storing most items there are some things that are not allowed to be stored inside a Pro Box container. We do not recommend storing candles, tapes of photos if you are storing over the summer. Pro Box does not allow illegal, toxic, waste, hazardous, contaminated, controlled, restricted, explosive, flammable, chemical, paint, heirlooms, irreplaceable items, antiques or inherently dangerous materials of any kind to be stored in our containers. In addition, do not lock anyone or any living thing inside the container. See the Terms and Conditions (Customer Service/Customer Forms) of the lease agreement for a complete listing of items not allowed to be stored in an Pro Box container.
You are responsible for any tickets or fines associated with storing the container at your location. It is always best to check with your landlord or home owners association for approval prior to taking delivery of the unit.

ProBox accepts major credit and debit card. Payments can be made over the phone. For other forms of payment, contact your local office for information. A convenience fee will be added to all credit card charges when purchasing a container.
Your storage rent is due every 4 weeks from the day your container is delivered until you are finished with your storage container.
The system will automatically bill your credit or debit card per the due date & there is no way to change this date.

Our friendly, professional drivers and staff do our best to place our containers with the utmost care to avoid any damage to your property. However, if you want your container placed in an unpaved area, there is the possibility of damage. In addition, please request plywood if you will be placing your unit on new asphalt or residential driveways.
If there is an attempted break-in or break-in you should contact your local police and report the incident.
Our professional CDL Drivers start deliveries at 7am and continue until the last scheduled delivery for each day – Monday-Friday.
We are usually able to deliver your container within 3 business days from the time you place your order. In some cases we are able to deliver your container the same or next day. Much of when we deliver your container will depend on the trucking schedule at the time the order is placed.
No special site preparation is required, the surface should be fairly level, smooth, and firm. The unit can be delivered on dirt as long as it is not too soft, or on cement, pavement, gravel or grass.
Yes someone needs to be where the unit is to be placed. It is very helpful so the driver can show you how to use the locking system and give you copies of your paperwork.
Setting up a “no one home pick-up or delivery” allows a customer to avoid being present at the time of the delivery or pick-up. Ask your Pro Box salesperson for details.
A clearance of 60’ is required for our 5’ and 10’ containers, 75’ for 20’ and 25’ containers, and 125’ is required for 30’ and 40’ containers. The width requirement is a minimum of 10 feet.
Our trucks also require a 12’9” vertical clearance for 10’ to 20’ containers and 16’7” for 25’ to 40’ containers when it comes to loading and unloading. We recommend a place that has high enough clearance for a truck to move in and out of your location, away from power lines and branches.

The number of containers that can be placed at your location depends on the size of your driveway and the size of the containers you choose. Unless your city or neighborhood has rules regarding how long a storage container can be placed at your location, you keep a Pro Box at your location as long as you need.
When you are ready to have your unit picked up from your location, call the local office at least 10 days in advance to ensure a date that works for you. Availability is limited and deliveries and pick-ups are on a first come, first service basis. It is very important that you get a confirmation number when you call the branch so that we all have a record of when you called
We recommend you place your Pro Box in an area free from wires, power lines, and low branches or trees, that will be convenient for you to pack your stuff. For delivery, we require an area that will accommodate the size of the truck AND the size of your container. We can always do a site check (free of charge), and send a driver out to the area to determine what will work best.
Be sure to remove your lock and all of your personal property from the Pro Box, along with any trash. It is a good idea to sweep clean the unit before pickup. Failure to leave a Pro Box in a clean fashion for use by another customer may result in an additional cleanup fee.
Unfortunately we cannot move the container with any items inside. Our trucks are not permitted to move items inside the
No surface prep is required. The container can sit directly on the ground. The only parts of the container that will come in contact with the ground are the four corners. We recommend that you select as level a spot as possible for the container. The doors can be difficult to open and close if the container is not level.
If your driveway is 24ft long, then 20ft or smaller containers can fit in your driveway (including clearance for opening the doors). If your driveway is shorter than 20ft long, then 10ft or 15ft containers will fit.
Yes, we provide site assessment/placement guidance. We will talk you through picking the best place for your container prior to delivery. If you’re still unsure, we are happy to send a driver out to inspect the area and help you find the best place to drop off your container.
Yes, you can have multiple containers placed side-by-side.
No special ground-leveling is required, but you should ensure you have a roughly level, smooth, firm spot big enough for your container freed up. Your delivery driver may also place blocks down to help level your container as needed.
Yes, we are happy to coordinate delivering multiple containers to the same location.
We can move empty containers within the same property, but we cannot move loaded containers, due to industry regulations.
