Meet The Pro Vault Locking System®
The patented Pro Vault Locking System® is hands-down the best way to keep your stuff secure in your storage containers. Most portable storage containers leave your locks exposed and easy to break, leaving your stuff at risk. The Pro Vault Locking System® changes everything. Built into the thick, heavy-duty steel doors are:
- Four exterior locking bars*: Heavy steel rods distribute force across the entire door to prevent forced entry.
- Two solid interior locking bars: Hidden reinforcement bars can’t be accessed or manipulated from outside the container.
- Five security plates: Steel plates shield vulnerable connection points and prevent tampering with the locking mechanism.
- Tamper-resistant puck lock slot: A recessed design protects the lock so bolt cutters, drills and saws can’t reach it.
With other storage containers, puck locks are easy targets for drills and saws. But not with the patented Pro Vault Locking System®. Our secure storage containers keep the puck lock in a protected place where power tools can’t reach. Overkill? Maybe, but you deserve it.

When you rent from us, your secure storage containers will come with the patented Pro Vault Locking System®. If you are buying a container instead of renting and want to ensure your container is as secure as possible, ask to have it added to your box.

How to Lock Your Secure Storage Containers
Maximum security starts with you. Follow these steps every time you secure your Pro Box rental container:
- Close both doors completely – Make sure they’re fully shut and lined up. No gaps = better security.
- Twist the exterior locking bars – Turn all four bars into the locked position. You’ll feel them click into place.
- Insert the puck lock – Slide your Pro Box Puck Lock into the tamper-resistant slot. It should fit snugly and flush.
- Turn & test – Turn the key to lock, then give the doors a firm pull to double-check they’re secure.
That’s it! The whole process takes just seconds once you’ve done it a couple times. To unlock, just reverse the steps and you’re good to go.
