Inside & Outside Salesperson

As a Salesperson, you will be responsible for cultivating and growing our culture of passion. You will be taking new calls and inquires from new customers and existing customers, marketing to existing customers and calling on high potential customers. Our customers include contractors, large retailers, institutions, government and small, medium and large businesses of all kinds.

Responsibilities

  • Helping prospects and customers as if they were one of your parents. Sometimes that means recommending them to another company
  • Effective listening, questioning, follow-up and asking for the order
    Tracking all customer communication in CRM system
  • Writing up orders and following up with customers after delivery
    Occasionally visiting customers and prospects in the field
  • Be a strong team player for all others at the branch, which also includes scheduling deliveries, helping other salespeople and helping with customer service calls

Experience

  • 2+ years of sales and/or customer service experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence the sale
  • Ability to multi-tax with high degree of attention to detail
  • Intermediate knowledge in MS Word and CRM systems
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Valid Driver’s License

Local Driver

As a Driver, your first priority will always be safety. You will also be responsible for cultivating and growing our culture of passion. You will primarily deliver and pickup ISO storage containers to and from customer’s locations. In doing so, you will be the face of the company to our customers and you will truly want to help them at the highest level.

In doing so, you will be required to call customers prior to delivery/pickup, assure that the container you deliver is in excellent condition, place the container where the customer needs it, make sure it is level and the doors work properly and then explain how to use the locking system to the customer. You will also be required to get signatures and payments from the customer and communicate regularly with the branch. In the yard you will be required to load and unload your trailer with a large forklift. You will sometime be required to do some light repairing on the containers. There will be overtime based on customer demand.

Responsibilities

  • Transporting container to and from customer’s locations in a safe manner
  • Make sure units that are delivered to customers look nice, are clean inside, and are wind and water tight
  • Load and unload containers from your trailer at the branch location in a safe manner
  • Keep your truck and trailer in the safest condition possible, which includes pre and post trip inspections
  • Be a strong team player for all others at the branch, which includes minor repairs to the delivery equipment, helping in the yard with repairs, cleaning out containers, organizing the yard and calling customer prior to delivery

Experience

  • 3+ years CDL-A experience or 2+ with a Class CDL-A and trucking certificate required
  • Towing experience preferred
  • Familiar with DOT regulations
  • Light experience with forklifts is preferred
  • Performance monitoring
  • Light experience with mechanical, painting and welding a plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Branch Manager

As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating and growing our culture of passion. You will also be responsible for overseeing the success of the sales, operations and profitability of the location. This position will report to the CEO.

Leadership

  • Hire for cultural fit, unique talents and skills and then engage their hearts and brains
  • Egoless leadership by example – Always do the right thing to employees, customers and vendors
  • Set goals and hold employees accountable to achieving those goals
  • Drive Sales and Profitability
  • Develop sales and marketing plans and procedures to aggressively grow the rental business in a profitable way
  • Develop commission and pricing strategies that align company, employee and customer goals
  • Coach, motivation and accountability for sales group
  • Design and implement safety programs for Yard and Drivers
  • Manage team of Yard and Drivers to insure containers are delivered and repaired to our customer’s expectations

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales or equivalent strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of sales, sales training and/or sale management experience
  • Experience managing P&L and demonstrate track record of profitability and continuous improvement
  • Experience in operations with knowledge of DOT, OSHA and state specific safety regulations preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge in MS Office Suite, including Excel
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Strong analytical skills, creativity and strategic thinking
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Valid Driver’s License
